Frequently asked questions

What age groups are the tours suitable for?

Our farm tours are designed for all ages – from early learners through to adults. We tailor the experience to suit the group, whether it’s a school excursion, community group, or family booking.

What can we expect to see and do on the tour?

Each tour explores our composting systems, food-growing gardens, animal husbandry practices, and the Componics model in action. You’ll get a hands-on look at sustainable farming, with opportunities to feed animals, explore growing systems, and ask questions throughout.

How long do the tours run and what’s included?

Standard tours run for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and include a guided walk around the farm, interactive sessions, and Q&A. For school groups or larger parties, we can customise the format to fit your timing and learning goals.

What should we bring or wear?

Please wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection (hat and sunscreen), and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a refillable water bottle – we have filtered water available on-site. Wet weather tours may still go ahead unless conditions are unsafe

How do I book and what’s the group size?

ou can book a tour online or by contacting us directly. We recommend a minimum of 15 people for group bookings, with a maximum of 50 depending on the tour type. If you have a smaller group or special request, just reach out, we’re happy to help tailor a visit that works for you.
