How it all started
Reconnecting With Food
Evergrow began in 2017 as a humble idea to reconnect people with where their food comes from. We started by transforming a patch of land in Inverell into a working demonstration farm, guided by the belief that small, intentional changes in how we grow and share food can make a big difference.
Early on, we built our first VERTI-POTS™ system to grow more in limited space. It worked, and it’s still the same system we use on the farm today. As the gardens grew, so did the vision. What began as a family project quickly became a place for learning, experimenting and welcoming others into the fold.
From the cafe to the classrooms to the commercial growers we now support, everything we do is rooted in hands-on experience and a genuine love for good food grown well.

Evergrow was founded by Steve and Alison in 2017 to create a more sustainable way of living. Starting with a bare block of land, they’ve built a thriving demonstration farm and developed the Componics model and VERTIPOTS™ system to help others grow food with confidence.
