Growing food, knowledge, and autonomy for a healthy future

Our Componics Growing SYstem
A Closed-Loop Growing System
Componics is the growing method we’ve developed here at Evergrow. It's designed to work with nature, not against it. By combining composting, worm farming, vertical growing, and smart watering, we’ve created a system where every part supports the next. Nothing is wasted. It’s a low-impact, high-yield way to grow food that builds soil health and supports resilient plants.

Food Production
Maximising Yield in Every Square Metre
Our farm showcases innovative food production in action. We grow a wide variety of vegetables both in-ground and in our protected greenhouse filled with VERTI-POTS™ towers. By capturing rainwater and recycling nutrients (with help from our worms), we cultivate abundant crops even in a semi-arid climate. In fact, our VERTI-POTS™ system allows us to grow up to 30 plants per square meter with minimal water waste, ensuring each harvest is lush and clean.

heritage Livestock
Working Animals, Healthy Farm
Our heritage farm animals are an integral part of the Evergrow system. We raise chickens, Irish Dexter cattle and a small herd of goats. Each animal contributes to the closed-loop cycle: chickens provide eggs and rich manure, goats supply milk and help clear weeds, and our hardy Dexter cows give creamy A2 milk while their manure feeds the compost that nourishes our crops.

WORM FARMING
Living Soil Starts Here
Worms are the unsung heroes of Evergrow’s success. Our worm farm works continuously to turn organic waste and animal manure into nutrient-rich vermicast and “worm tea” liquid fertiliser. These tireless soil-builders are central to the Componics model as they improve our soil’s fertility naturally and ensure that nothing is wasted.

The Farm Hub Cafe
Fresh Food Grown On-Site
Our Farm Hub Cafe is a warm, welcoming space where visitors enjoy fresh, paddock-to-plate meals made with our own produce. Tour groups, families, and locals gather to share seasonal dishes (and great coffee!) while overlooking the gardens. The Farm Hub also doubles as a community venue, hosting workshops, school visits, and even rustic farm weddings.
Frequently asked questions
What can I see and do when visiting the farm?
Visitors can explore our working demonstration farm, where we showcase the Componics growing model in action. You’ll see our vertical VERTI-POTS™ systems, in-ground gardens, worm farms, and working animals like heritage cows, chickens, and goats. You can also enjoy a seasonal meal at our Farm Hub Café and learn how our closed-loop system supports sustainable food production.
What is Componics and how does it work?
Componics is our farm-developed method that blends composting, worm farming, and vertical growing to create a living, closed-loop food production system. It uses organic waste to feed soil and plants naturally—without synthetic fertilisers or chemicals—making it easier to grow more in less space while building healthier soil and reducing waste.
Can I book a guided tour for a group?
Yes, we offer guided tours for schools, community groups, and anyone interested in learning more about regenerative farming. Our tours can be tailored to suit age groups or interests, and they include insights into Componics, sustainable growing, and how we integrate animals, gardens, and technology into one system. Contact us to plan your visit.
Is the Farm Hub Cafe open to the public?
Absolutely. The Farm Hub Café is open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am–1pm, serving a seasonal menu made with ingredients grown right here on the farm. You don’t need a booking for small groups, but if you're planning a visit with 6 or more people, we recommend reserving a table in advance.
How can I apply this model to my own property or project?
Whether you’re a school, community garden, hospitality venue or hobby farmer, we can help you set up a customised Componics-style system. From VERTI-POTS™ towers to irrigation, growhouses, and composting, we can guide you through design, setup and seasonal care. Get in touch for advice or a consultation.
